2017 Putts for Mutts

Please join us for the 8th annual Putts for Mutts Golf Tournament on Thursday 6/1/17, at Tunica National. Registration starts at 8am and tee time is 9am. Lunch and door prizes are included. A silent auction will also be held. All proceeds benefit our shelter.

Puttin' on the Dog

Make plans to attend the 4th Annual Puttin' on the Dog event benefiting our shelter. The event will be held at The Great Hall in Germantown, TN on Saturday 9/24/16, 6pm - 10pm. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door and include food, wine/beer, entertainment and a photo booth. We will have a huge silent auction and wine pull available too.

Bad to the Bone Poker Run

Don't miss the 2nd Annual Bad to the Bone Poker Run benefiting Tunica Humane Society. Pre-registered riders will receive tshirts and goody bags. Check-in the day of the event starts at 8:30am and riders leave at 9:30am. Riders will visit several locations to collect playing cards to make their poker hand and then return to Southern Thunder. The fun will continue into the afternoon with free food and drinks (11am - 2pm, donations are appreciated), raffles, live music (1pm - 4pm), adoptable dogs, visits by THS alumni, announcement of poker run winners, and more. Tshirts will be available for $20.

Poker Run registration starts at 8am on event day. Poker run participants will receive a tshirt and goodie bag, while supplies last. Additional tshirts will also be available for $20.Riders will leave from Southern Thunder Harley Davidson in Southaven MS, at 10am and make stops at: The Leather Store in Horn Lake, Windy City Grille in Como, Gordon's General Store in Coldwater and Blue and White Restaurant in Tunica. Riders will collect playing cards at each stop to make a poker hand and then return to Southern Thunder about 2pm - 3pm to turn in poker hands. 1st place = $250 Southern Thunder Harley Davidson gift certificate and $100, 2nd place = $100, 3rd place = $50.

An adoption event will be held 12pm - 4pm at Southern Thunder. From 2pm - 5pm at Southern Thunder, we'll have raffles, food, drinks and live music by Backstreet Crawler. Dog/human friendly, leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome to attend and participate in our Best Dressed Biker Dog contest about 3:15-3:30pm.The winner will receive a Harley Davidson Dog collar and gift certificate for a pet supply store. Contest registration will start about 3pm. We'll also be accepting monetary donations and donated items such as, Pedigree dry and canned dog food, treats, toys, cleaning supplies, blankets, cat food, cat treats, clumping litter, leashes, collars, crates, etc...
